| Q: Why do I have to
pay standard analogue (PSTN) rental in addition
to BBUK Broadband rental? |
|
| A: BBUK Broadband is
an additional service. It has its own charging
structure. BBUK Broadband can only be provided
on a BT standard analogue (PSTN) line and this
service has its own rental. |
|
|
|
| Q: How am I billed
for BBUK Broadband? |
|
| A: BBUK Broadband connection
and rental charges are currently paid by Standing
Order from your Bank Account. The initial setup
costs and first rental period is paid for by credit/debit
card. |
|
|
|
| Q: Do I still need
to pay for my phone calls and line rental? |
|
| A: Yes - BBUK Broadband
is an additional service on your line and is therefore
additional to your line rental. All telephone
calls are charged in the usual way. |
|
|
|
| Q: Do I need to pay
by Standing Order? |
|
| A: Unfortunately, at
the moment Standing Order is the only cost effective
way we can accept payments and keep the cost of
our service to a minimum. Should this change you
will be notified as a customer of addtional payment
options. The alternative is to pay Annually in
advance for which we can accept Credit Card. |

|
|
| Q: Why is
the total on my credit/debit card bill showing
charges 1 or 2p more or less than it should be? |
|
| A: Prices are sometimes
calculated including VAT for each item. When you
order items, the calculation adds the prices of
each item excluding VAT and applies VAT to the
total. In some circumstances this may make the
total cost fluctuate by a penny more or less. |
